Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
Illustrated in full color. Turn playtime into learning time with lovable Sesame Street Muppet Elmo and the biggest flap book ever!  Toddlers can lift alphabet blocks to find a word beginning with each letter, open doors and windows on Sesame Street to count objects from one to ten, lift flaps that reveal opposites, and help Elmo find his teddy!  More than 60 sturdy flaps--10 to 26 per spread--are part of the page, not glued on, and are made to stand up to the repeated wear and tear kids are sure to inflict with lots of lifting, looking, seeking, finding, and fun!

Amazon.com Review:
Count to 10, explore the alphabet, discover shapes, learn about opposites, and find the missing teddy bear in this big, colorful board book. Sesame Street's beloved Elmo guides young readers to lift more than 60 flaps to reveal humorous and edifying surprises. Over the word 'dry,' Grover gazes unsuspectingly into a garden hose. Turn the flap and guess what happens! Grover learns all about 'wet.' A towering pyramid of alphabet blocks contains objects starting with the same letter behind each flap: alligator, book, cookies. Large, sturdy flaps allow rough-tough toddler hands to clutch and pull as much as they want with minimal risk of tearing. Children will adore the bright, bold illustrations of Jim Henson's familiar Muppet characters and beg to return to this book again and again. (Baby to preschool) --Emilie Coulter

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Stimulating, fun, and educational, too!
I bought this book for a friend's child years ago, and knew I'd want to buy it for my own child one day, too. So, my little guy just turned a year old recently, and happens to be a big Sesame Street fan. When this book arrived, he got so excited to see Elmo on the cover! He LOVES it! We read this book several times a day. He loves opening all of the flaps and seeing all of his favorite characters inside. This book will also grow with a child, because it's not just fun to look at - it teaches numbers, letters, shapes, and opposites. At 15 mos. old, my son can do the number flaps in order after using this book, and can also identify shapes on the shape page. As an early childhood educator, I've seen a lot of children's books, and this is a great one!

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Great Book!
My 10 mo. old daughter loves this book and it's alot more durable than I thought it would be. She has ripped off some of the flaps but for the most part they are pretty strong. I definitely recommend this book to other parents especially for those whose children love Elmo!

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - great book, lots of lifting
I am always looking for educational type activities that are fun...my 18month daughther seems to really enjoy all the "lift windows" that are in this book. I would highly recommend.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Beautiful book! Needs adult help.
This is a wonderful book and my granddaughter loves it. I had to open all the tabs very first as they are really stuck to the page and have to be pried open. If you let a toddler do this they will tear every tab and it will be difficult for them to even find the tabs. Any child into Sesame Street and who isn't will love this book!

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Great Book for Tots
My son LOVED this book when he was about 2. It was a favorite and I read it to him too many times to count for a couple of years. I like to give this book as a gift. My godson (20 months) "reads" it every day. He loves to open the flaps and count. And of course, he's a huge Elmo fan. Highly recommended!
