Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
A wagon train of pioneers drives through Nothing Gulch en route to California. Its ill-tempered driver is sent away by the passengers, and Lucky Luke is asked to step in and replace him. He accepts, amused by this fun group. When the wagon train gets underway again, the trouble begins: A mystery vandal keeps trying to sabotage the expedition. But it takes a lot more than that to make Lucky Luke turn back!

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - One of the best Lucky Luke albums
Lucky Luke was a very popular comic series in Europe, drawn by Belgian artist Moris and written (in this case) by the late Rene Goscinny (of Asterix fame). The series, which has a fine combination of adventure and humour drawn in the clean line tradition of the Belgian school, is barely known in the US, even though the action is set on the American Old West. The star of all the books is, of course, Lucky Luke, the cowboy who shoots faster than his shadow. He rides the faithful Jolly Jumper and is often accompanied by the not too bright dog Ran Tan Plan. The Wagon Train itself, originally written in 1964, is a very good example of the series, one of its best books, and is itself a take down of John Ford's classic film Stagecoach (1939), with Luke in the John Wayne character, as he tries to bring a convoy of stagecoaches to California. Highly recommended.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Another funny Lucky Luke title
The Lucky Luke series has been popular for a lonnnnng time in many countries. Now English-speakers are getting to enjoy this series, originally published in French, through translations published by Cinebook. The Wagon Train features an Old West wagon train in need of a brave leader . . . Enter Lucky Luke--the cowboy who can shoot faster than his own shadow--astride his horse Jolly Jumper.

Note: Lucky Luke never kills anyone in 50+ volumes of stories about the Wild West, where he encounters real characters from those days, such as the Dalton Gang and Calamity Jane.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Great Read for Comic Book Fans!
Thanks for finally translating some more Lucky Luke titles! These books are great because you do actually learn some history while being entertained!
