I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the BMW which I ordered about a month ago. So, I wanted to find out as much as I could about BMWs before my car arrived.
This book was as detailed as I could stand. Most of the chapters I read cover to cover, but as I proceeded I skipped the sections on the diesels, wagons (estates), and compacts. And I barely skimmed the chapter on concept cars. But, maybe some would be interested in those topics.
One thing to note is that this book is written from a British point of view. It's not a hindrance for a reader in America, just something you may want to know ahead of time.
Writing was o.k. It wasn't Shakespeare and it wasn't Guns and Ammo. The information is what I was looking for and what it delivered.
