Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Fantastic book and fun to read
It's not everyday you come across a book about the history of automobile emblems and logos....but now that I have, I wonder why there aren't MORE. This is a facinating book! You don't even have to be a car aficionado (I'm not) to love this book. It gives a concise, readable history of every car emblem you've ever seen...along with a bunch you haven't. It's loaded with gorgeous photos and a lot of interesting facts - not just about emblems, but about cars and car companies, etc. Great for a coffee table...or a gift for a car lover. You won't be disappointed.

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Not all it could be...
I was excited about the prospect of this book. It seemed to be exactly the thing I was looking for -- why the logos looked the way they did, and why they changed over the years. But I wasn't not as enthralled with the reality.

Yes, it does give some interesting information about the logos of car companies around the world -- BUT in way too many instances you'll only see one a few versions of a logo which changed a lot over the years, with other versions just described. Why? Why not show at LEAST a line drawing if you couldn't get a photograph of it? And why not more discusion of WHY the logo was changed?

And although the full-page photos of a model of each car are very nice, wouldn't the space have been better served showing more car logos?
