Editor's Notes and Comments:
Product Description:
In every sort of creative environment, there are a number of people who are good, a handful who are poor and very, very few who are truly talented. Peter Egan has a unique gift: he is able to take all of the thoughts and feelings each of us has had and put them down on paper.
These titles are compilations of Egan's 'Side Glances' columns covering 13 years of his association with 'Road & Track.' Stories include 'Does Your Car Have Character?' 'How to Tell When You are an Older Car Buff,' 'The Old Mileage Question,' 'The Fishing Car,' 'B-Side Racing,' 'Garage Cleaning Tips,' and many more!
This is the third volume in our successful Side Glances series (both Volume one and Volume two have been reprinted) and contains more than 60 of Egan's recent columns from Road & Track.

The best part of the magazines has usually been Egan's articles so I am glad to have them collected together to have in a book to read, to loan, to laugh at again. Highly recommended.

Peter Egan is at the top of my list for writing about the automotive lifestyle. I can identify with every one of his stories. Long live Peter Egan

Unlike many of the cars he writes about, Peter Egan's columns do not grow old. Yet another collection of Egan's Side Glances columns from Road & Track. If you are into cars this book is a good one!
