I bought Living Languages Drive Time Italian and in no time, it has been
'driving' me nuts. I should have known there was a problem from the cover which shows a lady with oily hair riding in the car while looking at a guy.
Every few minutes they blast you with a car horn which makes me jump and I practically crash.
I seriously think this course is hazardous to your health.
A much better alternative is Behind the Wheel - Italian 1 (Behind the Wheel)

A great idea to study and practice while driving. One big problem though, the actual physical CD is more thin than average. It skips in my CD player in the car. I don't have this problem with any other CD's that I play. It is very frustrating.

Starts off well with the very first CD - and they have made Italian seem really easy to learn while you are driving. But then they jump into heavier grammar and it gets more difficult, the conversational stuff is better for learning while driving - you learn with the repetition.

Excellent product, but should not be relied on solely it you REALLY want to learn Italian. But it makes the ride in the car ( even in traffic!) very bearable.
