heaps of photos and a simple read, but would be better if the pics were in colour and larger in size. however there is so many different examples of 911's and 912's they cover in this book and era, it would be hard to photograph and describe them all.

The book could have been formatted a bit better for easier use and reference, but it certainly contains a lot of useful information. In restoring my '67 912 it has been valuable in such areas a interior appointments, body details, and manufacturing dates. In an update edition paint chips and more year-by-year photos would be of help. Anyone bringing one of these beauties "back from the dead" should have this book and just plain Porsche fans will find it interesting.

This book does have quite a bit of information but it could use much more. In some areas the author needs to be more difinitive ("most likely" doesnt cut it when you are going for a stock restoration). The photos & reproductions are only grey & white and fair to poor quality at that. There should be much more photos coverning variations (seats , materials etc). There definately needs to be a colour section especially concerning paint colors (what good is it saying the car came in albert blue, glacier blue and adriatic blue?). this is a good book but could use a new version and at the price its kind of thin at 100 pages
