I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I've always been a big fan of World War II fighter aircraft and especially the Luftwaffe fighters (produced and flown under such demanding conditions).
I've also always loved the old aircraft stored at the Smithsonian, and especially the restoration work that goes on at Silver Hill, the Smithsonian's restoration site.
This book goes into great detail about how the Smithsonian's technicians and artisans restored this historic fighter, and includes much historical information about the aircraft, its development, the different types, etc.
An excellent book for the amateur or professional historian who needs technical details about the Focke-Wulf 190.
