This is a cool idea: all the pages of this book are large ~8.5" x 8.5" puzzle pieces held together by a bendable/detachable plastic tube, with a "story" about some animals traveling on a train and the adventures they have along the way. The pages all have grooves in them that, when the puzzle is connected, makes a train track, and the book comes with a little plastic wind-up train that runs along the track.
My 2.5-year-old digs it, or at least USED to dig it before it proved to be poorly made.... the wind-up train is cheap and broke after a week or two of fairly gentle use, no longer winds up.... the puzzle pieces don't fit together snugly enough and just a gentle bump separates them.... the 2 pages with criss-cross grooves (the rest have all curved grooves) started to get floppy and unstable pretty quickly.
The drawings are colorful, the animals are cute, the story isn't exactly riveting.
It really is a great idea but just poorly executed.... I'd recommend getting it if you get it new or like new and for only a couple of bucks. The back page says "Ages 3-6", by the way.
