I borrowed this book from the library, because I was not sure if I would like it. I was right because I didn't like this anthology. Janice Maynard's story, the last one, was the best of all. Lori Foster and Gemma Bruce are both authors that I love so I own a lot of their work. This was not the best example of their excellent prowess as romance authors. Buy something else.

I picked up this book as an extra read to make up the amount needed for a discount. I thought it would be nice to read some Xmas stories at this time of the year and the back descriptions sounded great. I didn't realize that it was a "romance" novel and so was very surprised by the rather graphic at times descriptions of the people having sex. Luckily, like TiVo you can skip those parts to find out what's going to happen subsequent without any loss in the stories themselves. Because the stories were good, it may still be worth picking up this book.

I enjoyed this book. It was my very first romance book I have ever purchased simply because romance isn't really my type but I gave it a shot. Wasn't disappointed and will probably purchase another. Good read.

I am very disappointed in this book. I am not a prude and have read an extremely wide variety of books. However, I truly dislike it when gratuitous, unnecessary language is used when it has does absolutely nothing to enhance the stories being told. It seems as though someone went through these three stories and threw in a genetalia description here and there just because they could. Nice happy Christmas stories ruined!!!

I think I am one of the original Lori Foster fans. I have read every one of her books/stories and some I have read twice. This story was a disappointment. We met Marci in the book Bad Boy's of Summer, which was the story of her twin sister Bethany and her hunk Lucius. Ozzie works with Lucius and reluctantly agrees to keep an eye on Marci when Lucius and Bethany are on their honeymoon. Marci is a pet psychic and a little on the flaky side. Ozzie (aka Alpha Male) is supposed to have the hots for her, real bad, but her psychic ability freaks him out. She of course has deeper feelings for him, although his thinking that she is a weirdo doesn't sit well with her. The sub-story plot is Marci stealing a donkey from a nativity scene and needing Ozzie's help in returning said donkey to its rightful owner. Their story in general just left a lot to be desired; the connection between the couple wasn't believable on many levels. The ending was rushed and of course predictable. I have come to expect more from Lori Foster and look forward to her releases. This time she didn't deliver. On the flip side; a not so good Lori Foster story is still worth the read. As far as the other stories in this book, Lori's was the best of the lot.
