Just got a copy of this book. I have been reading Bowen's articles in Financial Planning magazine for years. In Breaking Through he lays out everything in one place to help you create a top tier Wealth Management Firm focused on serving the affluent. Bowen's programs cost thousands of dollars - this book was a great way to learn some of the insights from his programs. It will cost you money if you don't buy it.

John has an in depth knowledge of the financial advisory business. He has been an advisor and has worked with thousands of advisors-from the independent RIA to the wirehouse broker and everyone in between-and has used his research to understand what steps are necessary to develop the type of business desired. This is measured not only in income desired, but also the quality life that you want to live and the time and effort put into the business to provide for both. I encourage you to not only read the book, but to implement the processes outlined.
