Product Description:
It’s the light in our bedroom that answers the question. It’s not whether she’s awake that matters really. It’s whether the light is on. If the light is off she chose to turn it off. If it’s on she intended to see me. That’s all that I’m concerned with.
When I pull in our driveway and the light is on I know. She’s folding clothes, reading her book, taking a shower, brushing her hair into pony tails, or has fallen asleep waiting. I know she intended to wait up. The knowing is all that matters.
Change is good, or so they say. “They” being everyone but me that is. Everyone who isn’t going through a change or has been through one in the past. Not those of us who are facing the uncertainty of change in the present. None of us would agree. The fear of what could happen when the road turns keeps us set on our path. We are familiar with our surroundings and there is little reason to venture very far away from what we know.
I have no choice in the matter. My life is changing and I’m going along for the ride.

I do not wish to give too much away. Drivetime is broken into two main characters; the two lovers; the husband and wife. Their personal considerations and internal struggles with who they are as themselves as well as, as a couple is beautiful. It is real and refreshing to feel, read, understand the love that they have for one another as well as for life in general. they have their own challenges and the fact that neither has any idea of what the other is truley feeling as important rings true as in most marriages. comunicatio is perception and in this wonderful story of love there is not better description, in no other book, in no other time, that I have read or heard of. Buiy it for yourself and make up your own mind. Incredible, I say. Absolutely incredible!

. . not the destination. This book is a refreshing look into the very first person lives of both a mother/lover/wife and a father/lover/husband. With a very bold and unique style, "Drivetime" breaks rules, but works better than any "love story" I have read. Upon very first read, I did not notice that the characters have no names, no physical descriptions, no age and no race. Closing gaps in generations, these two lovers are the reason we love. They are well defined and their emotions lay out for everyone to recognize themselves in. What a wonderfuly caring account of why we love and how that love can know no boundaries.
It is my understanding that this novel was written for the authors wife. The very first line is amazing, "My heart is known only by treetops and outer branches." With such wide brushstrokes everyone will enjoy it. Buy an extra copy for the friend you love.

I found myself right in the middle of both characters. I could relate to their love they have for one another. I have followed this author before and he continues to open my eyes to everything around me, thanks Tony. I continue to read this book over and over, I find myself feeling different everytime. I look forward to many more works from him.

I really enjoyed this book. It nails truth on the head and is poetic in that each sentence is a finely crafted piece of art. Anthony has something to say and he says it well and with great humor. There is no flab here- just the story. I really enjoyed the story. The characters really came to life and I identified with both of them. I will be reading his other books as well.
Great Job Tony!
