This great trilogy contains three excellent stories suitable for a wide range of readers, young and old. The characters are warm and wonderful and the stories are each touching in their own unique way. In Big Oak Mega Buck the relationship and trust between a man and a deer is developed so nicely. Ella's Compassion is a great little story with a good lesson about being a nice person to everyone, regardless of how you're treated or whether you are rich or poor. The family in A Knock at Our Door typifies what a family should be, with the added bonus of some Irish humour and luck.
I highly recommend this book for anyone from teenagers to seasoned citizens.
