As a voracious reader with extensive disabilities, I was delighted to find this book. Most of these stories were published in mainstream magazines and several were nominated for awards and one given an honorable mention in the 7th Annual Edition of _Year's Best Science Fiction_ (Gardner Dozois, ed.) - but each story has a main character with some sort of disABILITY. But the STORY is key and all the stories go to show how disabilities are irrelevant. The book is meant to amuse, inspire and motivate. Mostly science fiction, there are also mystery, romance and suspense stories.
