I've had this book since I was a child, and honestly I couldn't see too much in it. But now that my two year old son ADORES this book, I have grown to love it also. The story and language are simple but interesting and the drawings are beautiful- also simlpe.

I have been a Cat Stevens fan for most of my life. When an old edition of Teaser and the Firecat was found on a dusty library shelf, my curiosity was aroused. I checked the book out and read it that night. The wholesome, simple writing style (which is written in English, French, and Spanish) and quaint illustrations made me realize how gifted Cat Stevens truly was and is. I loved everything about Teaser and the Firecat and I would recommend it to any reader without a question.

I was thrilled by the illustrations when I read this book. I also enjoyed how Cat Stevens wrote the book in French and Spanish. We listen to Cat Stevens music in our house all the time!

Cat Stevens, most notable for his recording career, wrote "Teaser and the Firecat" with such imagination that it will entertain children forever. The book sends Teaser and his friend Firecat on a journey to put the moon back in the sky. Not only is it a good story, it is also filled with detailed pictures illustrated by the author himself. I was disappointed to see the "Teaser and the Firecat" has been placed out of print by its publisher. I believe that it is a wonderful tale that should be read by children of all ages.
