Our twin tykes prefer the Byron Barton 'Planes' book over this one. I think the Barton books are graphically more interesting to kids, and theit language is both simpler and more informative.

I wasn't overly impressed with this book. It's just OK. My 4 year olds like it, but it's really more like a book for 2 year olds. I was looking for books to help my kids with their very first airplane ride. The other book I bought was awesome...this book wasn't too helpful.

Who says flying in a plane (or watching them) has to be scary? This simple, colorful book makes it exciting for even the very littlest. Great to read-aloud and even better for reading before (or during) an airplane ride. (...)

My 18-month old nephew reads this book over and over and over. He loves it! This book will be a big hit for any child who has been to the airport or any child whose interests are trucks, boats or balls.
