My grandson drags these books with him everywhere. He opens the book and point to the animals and repeats the animal names and feels the "touch and feel" portion of the animal. He even snuggles some of them. The book is made well, the pictures are really cute and there is just enough to get him interested without boring him (at only 1 1/2 years old). We read other books at bed time, but these books get read and played with all day, in the car, on our walks to the park...
I wish I would have gotten a lot more of these earlier, instead of the board books he chews on, and saved the board books for later.

Fuzzy Bee has better rhymes and textures. The turtle wasn't even squishy. Five out of the 7 pages have the same satiny material, including a tiny piece of ribbon which shows water coming out of the whale hole. I expected more subtle and enchanting rhymes. It has the same elements as Fuzzy Bee so my 2 month still enjoys it.

We have a 8 month old daughter and she loved the Fuzzy Bee and Friends book, so we figured she would love this one. She does! We are ordering another Priddy book too. She loves the interactive pages and how the book rhymes. She smiles every time I read this to her. Fantastic books!

i purchased the cloth reindeer book very first for my nephew when he was around 11 months old, and after my sister in law was still having to read it for him in march - i purchased all the other priddy cloth books for his easter basket. several months later these books are still his favorites. they are brightly colored with fun features like crinkly textures and flaps to lift up and explore. i hope new ones come out so i can add those to his collection!

I recently purchased this book because my 6 month old loves the Fluffy Chick book, and I thought sea creatures would be fun! I especially liked the iridescent fabric pictured on the turtle on the cover of the book. When the book arrived, the turtle had a boring purple polyester fabric on his shell, and the rest of the touchable fabrics were of a lesser quality and less fun than in the fluffy chick book. Additionally, the stitching work looked sloppy, so I sent the book back. On top of all of this, the book was mailed 3 weeks after the rest of my order. I suggest buying a used version and washing it.
