If you are new to aircraft partnerships, this is a good place to start. Geza gives you food for thought by showing things that have gone wrong in other partnerships and how to prevent them in yours! I would have liked it if there was a CD or website where I could have gone and Cut & Paste some of the agreement language without having to re-type it in from the book as I was making my own agreement.
A good starting point for anyone...

I have been in several aircraft partnerships, and wondered if I would learn anything from this book. I was pleasantly surprised!
This one covers all the bases, and, although published in 1998, doesn't seem dated in any way. I definitely learned some stuff I didn't know, which is how I judge the value of a non-fiction book.
It is definitely a book that is ideal for those who are new to both aircraft ownership and partnerships. Several of the chapters pertain to tips on buying an aircraft, many of which you may already know, but don't let that scare you off. The second chapter, about partner goals and compatibility, is worth the price of the book. I made sure all three of my partners read that chapter before we signed anything.
There are two aircraft partnership agreements for your perusal, but neither seems as thorough as the free one from AOPA. In addition, there are no sample LLC operating agreements, which is what I was hoping for. For that, you'll have to hire an attorney, using the AOPA partnership agreement as a model.
But, overall, the book is definitely worth $16, esp. if you can resell it for here $14 or so when you're done! Buy it with confidence.
